Comedian Samay Raina has taken down all episodes of his YouTube show, India’s Got Latent, following the controversy surrounding influencer Ranveer Allahbadia’s remark on a recent episode. The show, which featured a panel of internet personalities including Apoorva Makhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and Jaspreet Singh, came under fire after Allahbadia’s comments sparked public outrage.
The backlash intensified as political leaders, celebrities, and social media users criticized the remark as distasteful and irresponsible. In response, YouTube India removed the episode after intervention from the Indian government. The controversy escalated further with multiple police complaints and an FIR filed against Allahbadia, Raina, and other panelists.
Amid the growing scrutiny, Raina addressed the situation, stating that all episodes of India’s Got Latent had been removed from his channel. While he did not explicitly comment on the future of the show, the removal signals an attempt to contain the fallout from the controversy.
